Meet the experienced and friendly doctors and staff who make Village Eye Care, Inc. the leading provider of vision care products and services in Lebanon.


Michael D. Kerby, O.D.

Dr. Michael Kerby is the President of Village Eye Care, Inc. He grew up in central Texas where he achieved his bachelor’s degree from Texas A & M University. He received his Doctorate of Optometry degree in 1996 from The Ohio State University College of Optometry. During his training, he performed an externship at the Commonwealth Eye Center in Lexington, KY. Dr. Kerby provides primary eye care services for the whole family and has a special interest in the role of nutrition in maintaining eye health. Dr. Kerby also performs contact lens fittings of standard contact lenses as well as specialty contact lenses which correct astigmatism (toric and rigid gas permeable) and presbyopia (bifocal contact lenses). Dr. Kerby practices corneal reshaping and in May 2003 became certified in Corneal Refractive Therapy (CRT).


Melissa S. Kerby, O.D.

Dr. Melissa Kerby serves as Optometric Coordinator for Village Eye Care, Inc. She grew up in Hillsboro, Ohio and performed her undergraduate studies at The Ohio State University and Wilmington College. She received her doctorate of Optometry degree in 1996 from The Ohio State University College of Optometry. During her training, she performed an externship at The United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD. Her duties were to provide optometric services to midshipmen, enlistees, and Officers of the Navy. Dr. Kerby provides primary eye care services to all members of the family. She also performs contact lens fittings for standard contact lenses as well as specialty contactlenses to correct astigmatism and presbyopia. She has a special interest in corneal reshaping, otherwise known as orthokeratology. She is listed on the ortho-k network and in May 2003 became certified in Corneal Refractive Therapy (CRT).


Natalie

Natalie is an apprentice optician and has been in the optical field for almost three years. She graduated from Wright State University with her bachelor’s in Exercise Physiology and Psychology. Natalie just recently graduated and is now a licensed PTA. In her free time she enjoys being with her family and friends. She also coaches girls soccer and plays on a co-ed team. Her favorite lines are Kate Spade and Vera Bradley.


Amber McKinniss

Amber McKinniss is the Office Manager and Apprentice Optician with Village Eye Care, Inc. and has been in the optical industry since 2008. Her experience includes front desk, pre-testing along with selling and dispensing glasses. Amber spends her free time chasing after her beautiful little girl Kylar. Amber also enjoys music, time with friends and family, and sports. Some of her favorite frame lines are Koali, Kate Spade and Marc by Marc Jacobs. Amber has a passion for making your visit seamless from beginning to end.
